Hello and welcome to mycampingreview.com !  When I was a child, my family used to camp all the time.  Back then there were no Computers, Social networking sites, GPS units, High tech sleeping bags or any type of “cutting edge” camping technology – and definatley there were no blogs.  Camping was just a heavy canvas tent, a sleeping bag, the hard ground, and a stick crafted to serve as one heck of a marshmellow stick. Camping made wonderful family memories me.  Now I have the opportunity to create wonderful memories for my family.

I started this blog because I had a difficult time finding information on campgrounds. I found that Reservation sites such as Recreation.Gov contain limited information and virtually no photos of the campgrounds, and with the cost of campsite and reservation fees I want to make sure my money is well spent. I launched this blog with the goal in mind that it would develop into a helpful reference for all those who find themselves in the same predictiment.

I want your help too. Keep mycampingreview in mind when visiting your favorite campground, be it an RV Park, a primitive campground or whatever type of campground it is. After your trip simply send us a review along with your rating from 1 to 10 (10 being the best) oh and don’t forget to include some photos of the scenery and we will be sure to post them in your submission.

the site will certainly evolve out of necessity. We’ll be posting helpful camping tips, camping recipes and product reviews.
